I haven’t always wanted to unlock my iPhone 3G, I never really saw the point. I’d be able to get a handful of cool apps but I’d miss out on immediate updates from Apple. All that changed though when I moved away from the UK (yes, more on this soon I promise) and my device basically became a large iPod Touch. I couldn’t do much about the situation at first. The only real unlock solution was the Turbo-Sim which I didn’t have access to and seemed to be a bit dodgy judging by some of the storie
